Powers and functions of the agency
1. It determines the standards that ensure the quality, safety and reliability of communication and information technology services, and ensures that they are implemented.
2. In terms of building and coordinating the information system of government institutions, it assigns, organizes, registers and controls the domain name of the government.
3. Monitors the establishment of a modern information communication network between regional government institutions, performs software and system development work, makes it happen, provides appropriate support, and supervises its implementation.

5. Prepares information technology research design for government institutions and members of society at all levels, identifies needs or gaps in modern information exchange, proposes solutions, and implements them when approved.
6. Complex and mild information and communication technology infrastructure will be developed for the sector offices at all levels in the region.
7. Establishes, manages and supervises video conferencing, community information centers, call centers and community radio stations at the administrative levels of the region.
8. Establishes Information Communication Technology Private Entrepreneurship Centers;
9. Monitors, supports, controls the development of the region's information network and information communication technology infrastructure, and determines the level of developed software and applications;
10. Provides technical training and similar support on information communication technology, provides certification and license, and supervises its implementation;
